Alan Walker Launched New Single “On My Way” in Cooperation with PUBG MOBILE – PUBG MOBILE Presenting the World's Biggest Esports Tournament for Mobile Gaming

LOS ANGELES – March 22, 2019 – Tencent Games and PUBG Corporation announced today the company is further celebrating the one-year anniversary of PUBG MOBILE by partnering with world-famous artist Alan Walker, and announcing the 2019 PUBG MOBILE Club Open (PMCO) series for 2019. The company is also partnering with Sony Music Entertainment and Liquid State as part of Walker's new single "On My Way," which was performed by Alan Walker for the first time on March 20th in New York City during the PUBG MOBILE anniversary party. The song is now available on various streaming and video services and is featured as an exciting theme song within PUBG MOBILE.

To celebrate the song, PUBG MOBILE players can also utilize an Alan Walker-themed outfit that resembles his iconic mask and hoodie during special first-anniversary gameplay. Moreover, players can hear "On My Way" when in the PUBG MOBILE lobby or while driving a car in-game. During the launch event, Alan Walker also played very competitive PUBG MOBILE games with gaming influencers Liza Peachy, Faze Adapt, and Scotty Sire.

“I think we share the same values,” said Walker. “Early on, I wanted to create something that was unique. To symbolize and create unity. When people put on a mask and hoodie like me, they will become a Walker. With PUBG MOBILE, when I start the game or put on a level-three helmet, I can be my own hero. And this is another kind of amazing unity.”

The PMCO 2019 slate was also announced during the first-anniversary party. It will target semi-pro and pro teams from around the world. Also, VIVO will be the Title Sponsor and the Official Smartphone of the PMCO 2019. It will feature a Spring and Fall split, with the Spring events covering 10 regions including Southeast Asia, India, Middle East, North America, South America, Korean, Japan, and China. There are already 35,000 teams recruited for the Spring Season. Online qualifications begin on March 22nd and end March 30th, with the finals held in Berlin in July as teams compete for glory.
